To close out and commemorate the 90th anniversary of Disney’s global icon, Mickey Mouse, Kith presents our first-ever collection with Disney. Kith silhouettes and custom fabrications meet timeless Disney renditions to celebrate the life and history of Mickey Mouse as evolved through the decades, ranging from the 1920s – today. The assortment spans approximately 80 – styles of co-branded apparel, footwear, and accessories for adults and kids.
The overarching concept for the collection is the ‘Best of KITH for the best of Mickey’s milestones’ as Kith selects eight of their favorite iterations of Mickey Mouse through the ages and matches them with eight of the brand’s signature fabrics. These fabrics set the foundation for custom takes on this “True Original character” as he is re-imagined into Kith’s design aesthetic throughout the collection.
Beginning with Mickey Mouse’s original 1920s art style, Kith creates an assortment of denim styles using staple silhouettes such as double pocket hoodies, trucker jackets, and kimonos featuring his likeness embroidered or executed in Swarovski crystals. The 1930s Mickey is represented through corduroy rugby shirts and varsity jackets, while the 1940s Fantasia Mickey receives a variety of sweater knit garments such as cardigans, cable knits, and more. Wool flannel tops embody 1950s Mickey, while the 1960s and 1970s are covered by seersucker and Sherpa fleece respectively. The last two decades – the 1980s and 1990s – utilize twill for the former and puffer outerwear for the latter. The fabric story element of this collection is complemented through a range of Kith Classics pieces featuring Kith for Disney branding.
Introducing our varsity jacket in 12.25 oz. 100% cotton denim in our classic Hosu wash. Each varsity jacket is washed for over 3 hours to achieve our renown Hosu wash. Each varsity features custom stripe knit ribbed cuffs, collar, hem, silver Kith branded silver snaps, metal zippers at the pockets and a direct embroidered Mickey Mouse on the chest. The varsity jacket features a Swarovski Disney crystal logo on the left sleeve, a direct embroidered Mickey Mouse logo on the rear and a Swarovski Kith classic logo on the rear.
Our Laight jacket returns in 12.25 oz. 100% cotton denim in our classic Hosu wash. Each Laight jacket features a mix of light indigo, medium indigo and dark indigo wash accents. The 1920’s Mickey Swarovski crystal stones provide added style as well as Steamboat Micket Swarovski crystal stones, and the Disney Swarovski crystal stones. Lastly, this model features Kith branded metal shanks and Kith branded rivets.
Our double pocket hoodie returns in 12.25 oz. 100% cotton denim in our classic Hosu wash. Each double pocket hoodie features a mix of light indigo, medium indigo and dark indigo wash accents. The Swarovski crystal Kith classic logo on the chest and the direct embroidered 1920’s Micket logo on the chest and sleeves. Our double pocket hoodie also features cotton drawstrings on the collar and hem.
Our Varick jeans returns in 12.25 oz. 100% cotton denim in our classic Hosu wash. Each Varick features Kith branded metal shanks and Kith branded metal rivets. The custom Mickey patch on the rear waistband proves added style as well as the Swarovski crystal Kith classic logo on the leg, the satin-stitch embroidered 1920’s Steamboat Mickey Mouse logo and the Disney logo. The Varick fit is slim with a tapered leg opening.
Our Carlton hoodie returns in our 100% cotton 8 wale corduroy. The Carlton hoodie features a custom designed Mickey multi decade lining, two way Kith branded metal Excella zippers, embroidered 1930’s running Mickey Mouse on the front and satin stitched 3-D embroiderd Kith Serif logo on the pocket and an embroidered Disney logo on the sleeve.
Introducing our rugby in our 100% cotton 8 wale corduroy. The rugby is color blocked in Kith Navy and Scarab. The rugby features embroidered Kith classic logo patch, the embroidered 1930’s running Mickey logo, a satin-stitched 3-D embroidered Disney logo on the rear collar. The wool flannel at the under placket ensures added style as well as the Kith branded faux shell button placket.
Our Varsity jacket returns in a lamsbwool and nylon blend knit as well as a wool interior facing for added comfort. The 1940’s Fantasia Mickey intarsia logo on the front provides added style as well as the direct embroidered Disney logo on the sleeves and the Kith intarsia logo on the rear ensure added style. Other features include the 80 gsm Primaloft polyfill white provides added warmth and the Kith branded silver snap placket and welt pockets.
Our Ryan cable knit sweater returns in a lambswool and nylon blend knit and features a 1940’s Fantasia Micket intarsia logo, a Kith serif satin-stitch embroidery on the front, a Disney satin-stitch embroidery on the rear collar, and a color blocked construction. Lastly, this Ryan cable knit sweater fit is boxy with a slightly shorter fit.
Our Adam combo hoodie returns in a 400 gsm cotton fleece fabric and an 80/20 split lambswool and nylon knit detail on the sleeves. The 1940s Fantasia Mickey embroidered patch on the front provides added style as well as the satin stitch Kith serif 3-D embroidered logo on the front and lastly the cotton draw cords on the hood.
The Carlton hoodie returns in a cotton blend flannel for our Kith X Disney 2019 collection. Each Carlton hoodie features Kith branded buttons, Kith Serif chain stitched logo on the front pocket, chain stitched 1950’s Mickey logo on the rear and a satin stitched 3-D embroidered Disney logo on the sleeve.
Our combo hoodie returns in a mix of 500 gsm 100% cotton fleece and a cotton blend flannel. Each combo hoodie features self dyed 100% cotton raw edge draw cords, 3-D embroidered Kith Serif at center chest and Disney 3-D embroidery at the left sleeve.
Our racing jacket returns in a cotton poly blend twill, 100% Polyester custom designed Mickey multi decade print lining, a polyfill interior, and a quilted exterior. Other elements include a 2 way Kith branded Excella zipper, metal Kith branded snaps on the pockets, a 3-D direct embroidered Disney patch on the rear, a tackle twill Kith logo on the chest and lastly custom designed Disney patches on the chest and sleeves.
