The word epoch means ‘a period of time in history or a persons life.’ For Summer 2021 Epoc founder Ben Hoang takes us back to his southern roots in ranch and cattle territory Texas. Desert lands filled with seas of dust, cacti’s and a glaring summer’s sun. The sounds of restless horse’s, cows chomping on grass and the unmistakable rooster crow. Classic Springsteen ‘Born in the U.S.A.’ denim jackets, hoodies re-imagined in scenic horse prints, indigo tie dye, camp collars with cowboys as an homage to the classic Marlboro man, dip dyed t-shirts and ranch graphic t-shirts. Southern motifs are recurring in subtle and overt ways throughout the collection. Epoc Summer 2021 is comprised of mostly natural hand feels such as cotton knits as well as synthetic fibers like nylons for shorts.
Our Tyson Type II denim jackets return in our classic Sante Fe wash. This 100% cotton twill 13 oz. jacket is washed for over two and a half hours, stone washed with silicone oil, hand destressed abrasion at the edges to achieve a classic Levi’s trucker appearance. Off white 7 s.p.i. topstitch runs through this jacket with silver Epoc branded shanks. Lastly, a direct embroidered cowboy hat is applied above wearer’s right pocket and a e-D embroidered Epoc script logo is applied at wearer’s left pocket. The Tyson Type II jacket fit is boxy with a slight over shoulder and cropped fit as an homage to 80’s Levi’s jackets.
Our Wyoming hoodie returns in 450 gsm 100% cotton jersey for Summer 2021. Each hoodie is garment printed and garment washed for over 2 hours and hand distressed at edges to achieve a vintage thrift store find. The Wyoming hoodie features an all over digital print horse scenic, 120 Tex topstitch, 5 gauge 2 way Epoc branded zipper and 3-D embroidered Epoc logo at the back neck. The Wyoming hoodie fit is boxy with a slight dropped shoulder and cropper in the length to mimic a vintage hoodie.
Introducing our Issah camp collar shirts for our Summer 2021 ‘Cattle Country’ collection. Our Issah camp collars are constructed using a 40% silk 60% cotton blend twill for a cool and light weight shirt. Each camp collar features dolman sleeve at the front, set in sleeves at the back with an over arm seam for maximum mobility as well as darts at the back. Each camp collar shirt contains Epoc branded buttons, side slit and Epoc branded button with a locker loop as our signature detail. Our Issah camp collar comes in the color Root Bear and a scenic horse ranch print. The horse ranch color way is garment print and is applied via digital print. Each Issah camp collar is washed for forty five minutes to achieve a broken in hand feel and appearance. Our Issah camp collar shirts are boxy, slightly oversize with a dropped shoulder and cropped at the hem to achieve a vintage fit.
Introducing our Jackson t-shirt in our Summer 2021 collection. Each Jackson t-shirt is constructed using 250 gsm 100% cotton jersey and is dip dyed. Each Jackson t-shirt features 1X1 rib at the neck, raw roll hem at the sleeves and hem, Epoc branded button with locker loop as our signature detail and tonal Epoc screen print at the center chest. The Monroe is constructed using 100% cotton yarns and is deconstructing meaning there are not shoulder pads nor interior lining. The Monroe features Epoc branded button closure, patch pockets and 3-D satin stitch embroidered Epoc branding at the left chest. The Quentin t-shirt is constructed using 300 gsm 100% cotton pique and is garment washed and garment dyed to achieve a worn in vintage appearance. The Quentin is constructed using off white over lock stitching, a back yoke, Epoc branded button and locker loop as our signature and 1X1 rib at the neckline.
